If simcha is playing hard-to-get, we're chasing the wrong type. Happiness and Joy are not the same. Happiness is a relationship with ourselves. Joy is a relationship with G-d. Joy has a purpose...it's not a goal in itself.
Joy is an investment. Invest in joy and you'll get it back. With great returns!
Don't take life seriously. Remember always to stand back and laugh at yourself and at life. Anger is a symptom that we're forgetting to do so!
Some of us wear glasses, but G-d needs none. His view sweeps the world from one end to another and He sees all of Time. In other words, He sees all of us all the time!
